Paid Parking within the City Center

The apartment is located within “Haarlem East” city centre where there is no free parking (green area on the map). Annual parking permits are only available for residents.

Paid Parking

The options for parking are:

1. For residents of The Netherlands
   Use the EasyPark app (formerly ParkMobile) for parking and this costs €4.30 / hr (price in August 2025).
2. For non-residents of The Netherlands
   The only option is a parking meter just at the end of the street: turn onto  Harlemmermeerstraat and you’ll see a carpark and on the pavement there is a parking meter and an electric charging point. It’s only possible to park there for a maximum of 2 hours.

Car Park

 The nearest car park is called De Appelaar which is right next to the Teylers museum (max 10 mins walk away). The charges here are high so please check De Appelaar website. 

Free Parking: NO TIME LIMIT

For longer term parking you can park just outside the city perimeter, shown by the red line on the map. The green arrow shows the apartment location.

The red arrow shows a quiet street where there is always a place to park, and it’s just a 10 minute walk away. The name of that street is Gouwweteringkade. Click here to see on Google Maps.

Free Parking in front of the apartment

Parking in front of the apartment is free from 23:00 to 09:00 every day. On Sundays parking is free until 13:00.
