There is a shopping street at the end of the road where you will find a supermarket and other shops such as bakery, florist, drugstore, fish mongers, tobacconist, hair salon etc. For food there’s a Chinese restaurant, pizza takeaway, Fons snackbar, small takeaway with Thai food (right at the far end), and a small takeaway with food from Surinam.

The apartment is located in the green area ‘Haarlem East’ city centre (red arrow). It’s just a 10 minute leisurely walk to the centre of Haarlem (blue area) where there are many shops, restaurants and places of interest.

To get to the city center, walk out of the front door and over the bridge just in front of you, to the right. This takes you on a straight route right into the city center.

The famous Teylers Museum is just 6 minutes walk away from the apartment.
