Terms & Conditions for Little Red Clog Holiday Apartment

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly through our website for stays at Little Red Clog, Haarlem, Netherlands. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as stated at the time of booking.
1.2 Payment can be made via Stripe which offers a wide range of different payment methods e.g. credit card, PayPal, Link etc
1.3 The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for ensuring all members of their party comply with these Terms.
2. Prices
2.1 All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
2.2 Tourist tax (toeristenbelasting) is charged at the applicable Haarlem municipality rate per person per night and is payable in addition to the booking price unless stated otherwise.
3. Deposit & Balance
3.1 A deposit of €100 is payable at the time of booking.
3.2 The balance must be paid on arrival.
3.3 If the balance is not received on arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
4. Cancellation by Guest
4.1 Cancellations must be made in writing (email accepted).
4.2 Cancellation charges:
- More than 14 days before arrival: full refund of €100 deposit.
- Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: half refund of €100 deposit.
- Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: no refund of €100 deposit.
4.3 We recommend guests obtain travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, and personal belongings.
5. Cancellation by Owner
5.1 In the very unlikely event we need to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
5.2 We are not liable for any other costs or compensation.
6. Check-In / Check-Out
6.1 Check-in is from 15:00 on the arrival date.
6.2 Check-out is by 11:00 on the departure date.
6.3 Early check-in/late check-out may be available upon request, depending on the previous/following guests. We will always try to accommodate an earlier check-in if this is possible
7. Use of Property
7.1 The accommodation is for the exclusive use of the registered guests.
7.2 No parties, events, or unregistered overnight visitors are allowed without prior consent.
7.3 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
7.4 Pets are not allowed.
8. Shared Spaces
8.1 If you are booking one private bedroom rather than the entire apartment then the property may be shared with other guests in the other private, separate bedroom. Shared spaces include kitchen, bathroom, garden and living areas.
8.2 All guests are expected to respect shared areas, keep noise to a minimum after 20:00, and maintain cleanliness.
9. Liability
9.1 Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay.
9.2 The owner accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings, except where caused by negligence.
9.3 There are locked wardrobe cupboards for your use.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to provide the accommodation or services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, strikes, or extreme weather.
11. Data Protection
We will only use your personal data for the purposes of processing your booking, complying with legal obligations (including local registration requirements), and contacting you in relation to your stay.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
