How to get to Little Red Clog

How to get here from Amsterdam
First get the train from Amsterdam to Haarlem
At Amsterdam Central train station, take the train to Haarlem from platform 1 or 2. The train takes 15 mins.
Then get the bus from Haarlem train station
From Haarlem train station you can get the following buses at the front of the train station
Bus 73 (going to “Schalkwijk”)
Bus 3 (going to “Schalkwijk”)
Bus 2 (going to “Spaarnwoude”)
Get off the bus at “Turfmarkt”. There is a screen on the bus which tells you what the next stop is, so it’s very clear when you need to get off. From Turfmarkt bus stop walk over the big ‘paint roller bridge’ and the apartment is just ahead on the left.
How to get to Amsterdam
First get the bus to Haarlem train station
It takes 20 minutes to walk to the train station or you can catch the bus at the end of the road, from “Turfmarkt” bus stop. Turn left out of the front door then go right at the end of the street. Walk over the ‘paint roller’ bridge and you’ll see the bus stop in front of you right next to the river. All buses that stop here go to the train station.
Then get the train to Amsterdam Central.
Trains run every 10 minutes from Haarlem train station and the journey takes 15 minutes.
Travelling to and from Schipol Airport
From the Airport by Bus
The number 300 bus runs from the airport to Haarlem city centre. This is far easier than getting the train and takes 35 minutes. Walk straight out of the front of the airport and immediately in front of you, you’ll see a lot of bus stops. The number 300 is a couple of rows back on the right. The stop you need to get off at is called “Centrum / Verwulft” and is just next to McDonalds. There’s a digital screen on the bus which tells you what the next stop is. From McDonalds it’s a 10 minute walk to the apartment.
From the Airport by Taxi
This is the cheapest taxi service at €39 and requires an advanced reservation: https://www.taxihaarlemservice.nl/taxi-haarlem-schiphol-2. A standard fare would probably be around €60 to €70.
From the Airport by Train
There is no direct train to Haarlem, and changing trains in Amsterdam Sloterdijk is necessary. Once you get to Haarlem train station you can get the following buses at the front of the train station:
